Now a days smartphones replacing point-and-shoot cameras, and if you're not a photography enthusiast, investing in a digicam doesn't make much sense. ASUS understands this pretty well, and has just launched a couple of camera accessories which are meant to boost the imaging abilities of its ZenFone 2 range.
The company has launched the ZenFlash dongle and LolliFlash torch at an event in Taiwan.

The Asus ZenFlash:

First one is the ZenFlash, being the first of the two flash accessories is a “Xenon flash dongle” that can connect to devices through USB OTG. The ZenFlash gets connected to the device when it is stuck to the phone’s rear panel and Asus claims that it can create flash that is 400 times stronger and brighter than the normal LED flash. This is all that was revealed by the company with regards to ZenFlash. Anything regarding its compatibility like whether this will only work with ZenFone series or is it compatibility with any other devices is unknown.

The Asus LolliFlash:

Second one is the LolliFlash, which as the name suggests is shaped in the form of a Lollipop. This is a phones dual-tone LED torch. It comes packed with a built in battery and can be connected to devices via the headphone jack or 3.5mm audio port. This is said to be available in three colors – Blue, Yellow and Red. The device looks much simpler and feels as it could be stuck in the headphone jack of any device. The various color filters of the LolliFlash help to protect the flash.
